June 12 : The auspicious occasion of Yogini Ekadashi is here, filling the hearts of devotees with reverence and devotion. Yogini Ekadashi is observed on the 11th day (Ekadashi) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Ashadha as per the traditional Hindu lunar calendar. It is believed that observing a fast on this day and performing sincere prayers can wash away one's sins and grant spiritual upliftment.

Sunrise, on 14th June will be at 5:44 AM and sunset at 7:09 PM, and the Ekadashi Tithi commences at 9:29 AM on June 13th and concludes at 8:48 AM on June 14th. The Hari Vasara End will be at 2:44 PM on June 14th, followed by the Dwadashi End Moment at 8:32 AM on June 15th.

Devotees rise early on this day and engage in various rituals and prayers dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the universe's preserver, and sustainer. Many visit temples and offer flowers, fruits, and other religious offerings. Chanting of hymns and devotional songs fill the air as devotees express their love and gratitude towards the divine.

Fasting plays a significant role during Yogini Ekadashi. Devotees abstain from consuming grains and certain food items throughout the day, and some even observe a completely waterless fast. The fast is broken the next day during the Parana time, which starts at 5:45 AM and concludes at 8:25 AM on June 15th.
