You guys do recognize this monument right, the beautiful Sydney Opera House. The island-nation of Australia found the most emotionally touching way to acknowledge the festival of lights by illuminating the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House with a beautiful golden glow.

Diwali at Wembley !!

The Wembley Stadium in London paid a hearty tribute and showed their respects and gratitude to both the Indian festival of Deepavali and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by illuminating the stage with a dazzling spectrum of colorful lights.

Little India ?

Does this look like another busy day on a busy street with a lot of busy people walking by in the streets of India? Well guess what, this isn't India !! That's Singapore and the place is called Little India. And you can probably make out by the crowd and the dangling decorations, Singapore Indians pre-plan their Diwali celebrations really well cos they know exactly where to go and get all their Diwali stuff.

A Headquarter's head's Up !!

If you're staying abroad, working a busy schedule and probably forgetting the fact that Diwali is just around the corner, well worry not !! The people of the United Nations headquarters know exactly when it is time to give you a heads-up regarding the festival of Diwali. And no it isn't going to be a reminder through an email or a postcard, it's going to be much bigger. Just keep your eyes open when walking down the streets.
