Harley Davidson is an iconic American motorcycle manufacturer founded by William S. Harley and brothers Arthur and Walter Davidson in 1903. When Harley and Davidson produced and sold their first motorcycle, they were one of the small industrialists springing up across the country. But after a century and more it remains so rooted in American culture and intertwines with the American history.

Harley Davidson India is the subsidiary that is based in Gurgaon, Haryana. It began its operation in August 2009. It started an assembly facility for CKD kits for its motorcycles in India. In 2014, it began the production of Street 500 and 750 models in India for domestic sales and for export as well. Harley-Davidson offers a range of 14 models in India form each of its platforms. They are Sportster, Dyna, Softail, V-Rod, Touring and Street.
