About Ducati
Ducati is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer known for sport bikes and street bikes using L-Twin engines. The Ducati Company was founded in 1926 in the northern Italian town of Bologna. Ducati motorcycle production began post World War I as motors attached to bicycles. In the early 50’s the firm started producing stand-along motor scooters, but by the end of the decade Ducati began to hold position in the racing track.
Ducati’s most popular desmodromic valve system was developed by Fabio Taglioni, and with this it gained prestigious awards in 60’s and 70’s. Ducati’s range of bikes include; Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Scrambler, Streetfighter and Superbike. With its innovative technology and capturing design it rallies through 80 countries around the world. Ducati’s plant in Thailand, which was established in 2011, assembles motorcycles for Indian as well as Asian markets. It entered into the Indian market in 2008.
Ducati competes in both World Superbike and MotoGP World Championship and finds success in each race. Ducati’s Monster family remains a top seller with the current generation air cooled engines. In India, Ducati brings its all new Scrambler family, Diavel 1260, Panigale, Multistrada 1260 and the legendary Scrambler 1100. Ducati offers freedom, joy and self-expression with its new Scrambler models that have begun its Indian expedition.
